Father, I pray for Eric Sorensen. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom and serve you in honesty and humility. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a spirit of repentance for sin in his life. May he desire to walk with you through Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Protect him and his family.

Dear Almighty God. I thank you that You love all Your people and are interested in our wellbeing. I lift up to You Rep.. Sorensen. May he know you in a powerful way today and may he lean on Your ways and not the ways of this world. Please provide him with Your Wisdom and Truth so that he may serve his district well. Protect him and his family and provide them their needs. Help him to do his part to save the unborn. In the name of Jesus! We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Eric Sorensen. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Sorensen. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Eric Sorensen be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Illinois and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives. May he not serve for money or power, but as serving you, Creator and Savior. May he ask for your wisdom to guide him. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness that he may find life in Jesus Christ. Protect him and his family.

Father, please bless Representative Sorensen and draw him closely to Your side. Lead him in the paths of righteousness, and may he seek Your guidance as he goes about his duties in Congress. He is proud of his State and of safeguarding the needs of all the citizens; give him wisdom and godly counsel to lead him in a straight path that is well-pleasing to You. May he continue to point the way for other members of Congress to establish clear boundaries when it comes to making laws. Teach him to value the sanctity of human life. May he be a strong ally to Israel. Encourage him and keep him well and safe. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
