Rich McCormick (R)

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of Rich McCormick. We pray that he cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, knows where his heart stands. If Rich McCormick refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that his days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20) and that another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take his place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of Georgia and for America. In Jesus name, Amen.

Dear Lord, I do not know this man, Representative Rich McCormick, or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around his life and circumstances. I pray that he might be a man of faith (or that Your Spirit will draw him to Your Truth) who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices he makes, the decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people. I pray, Father God that your Spirit will be working in and around his life and his position. Surround him with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction. I pray for repentance for America.

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Rich McCormick. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Johnson. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Rich McCormick be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Georgia and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives.
