Mike Flood (R)

Dear Father, Thank You for your promise from Proverbs 21:1 that "The king's heart [in this case, the Congressman's heart] is like channels of water in the hands of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes." I pray that you would direct Congressman Flood's heart to righteousness, that you would give him courage and conviction to lead in the paths of righteousness, and that you would protect him from the power and influence of evil. More than anything though, Lord, I pray that you would draw his heart to you, that Mike Flood might be saved, in the glorious Name of Jesus.

Thank You, Father, in the Name of Jesus, for your love for every person, including Mike Flood. Thank you for your promise to direct the heart of the king (in this case, the congressman) like channels of water in Your hand (Prov 21:1). I pray for Congressman Mike Flood, that you would open his eyes to your unconditional love for him, open his eyes to his sin (as you have for mine), and open his eyes to understand what it means to be born again. I pray You'd provide him an opportunity to genuinely hear and understand the Gospel, and that you'd give him an authentic opportunity to respond. And I pray that Your Holy Spirit would draw his heart, that he would have what he needs to be saved. May he one day hear those words from Your lips, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord."

Father God Almighty, I pray for this public servant in accordance with your holy word that ��The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of God's calling in you.( Eph 1:18 )... And that your wisdom be as the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what their nation ought to do; (1Ch 12:32). For these are troubling and confusing times for our nation and this fine servant of the people deserves our prayers that the very best decisions be clear, that confusion be driven away. Let his hearing discern rightly if the truth or vanity is in the presentations before him. That he have confidence of the right decision in all things brought before him. Lord Jesus in your mighty name we pray for the health, safety, and prosperity of your servant, his family and loved ones, his staff, and those he represents. Prosper his constituents that they may contribute to the general welfare of his state and our nation, In Jesus name. Amen, and Amen.

Father, I bring Representative Flood before Your throne of grace. Bless him, Lord, as he serves our country as a member of Congress. Guide him as he makes decisions. May he seek out the truth of all matters, not leaning on his own understanding or heresay of another or coercion by another. Let him walk in clarity, protecting the rights of others, defending our Constitution, standing for the sanctity of human life and in support of Israel. Give him Your wisdom and discernment as he works across partisan lines. May he continue to walk in integrity, with His eyes on You, as the Author and Finisher of his faith. Bless him and his family in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I raise prayer for this elected official in the dark hours of the night. Grant and bless him the wisdom of the men of Issachar, that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Protect and defend his voice as he represents the best interests of those he serves. Make clear his pathway, provide just weights for his scale of judgement in complex issues. Light his path in the hope of his calling. Grant health, safety, and prosperity to him, those he loves, his staff, and those he represents through the times ahead. Amen, Amen in Jesus Name.

Father, Thank You for Representative Flood's kind, compassionate heart and his desire to improve the economy and overall living standards for the people of his constituency. His record of honesty and true devotion to doing what is right for all people concerned has translated into his positions first with the legislature of Nebraska and into the House. May he continue to seek Your counsel as he works to improve education and safeguarding the health of all children. Give him the courage to speak up for what is right and moral concerning policies in education. Open his eyes to ways to improve educational standards promoting decency and righteous living. Thank you that he values all life, and may he become a champion for the sanctity of human life. Give him courage and boldness to oppose those who do not understand that life begins at conception, and that God has a plan for each child. Bless him as he works with our veterans and our military to ensure they have the support our veterans so deserve, as well as ensuring that our active military are well equipped and prepared to serve and protect our nation. May he walk in unity with President Trump and defend the Constitution. May he support Israel. Bless his family in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Mike Flood. Thank you for his service to our country. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. May he seek you for wisdom and walk in truth. Give him a love for unborn children and an understanding of their humanity from conception, and a desire to protect life from the beginning. Protect him and his family.
