Lord Jesus, I raise prayer for this elected official in the dark hours of the night. Grant and bless him with the wisdom of the men of Issachar, that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Protect and defend his voice as he represents the best interests of those he serves. Make clear his pathway, provide just weights for his scale of judgement in the complex issues that pass before him. Light his path as a guide that He fulfills his calling. Grant health, safety, and prosperity to him, those he loves, his staff, and those he represents through the times ahead. Amen, Amen in Jesus Name.

Father, I ask Your blessings over Representative Vital and his family, and I ask that You would guide him in to all truth as he puts his trust in You. Please draw closely to him and manifest your presence in his life. Open his eyes to Your word so he will walk in truth and with integrity. May he lean not to his own understanding in matters of legislation, but may he seek You with all his heart and draw nigh to You. May he be a strong support to our President and the leaders You have placed in office. Open his eyes to see truth and to speak boldly for the truth, even when it is not the popular thing to do. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Lord, I pray that Tennessee Representative, Greg Vital, would seek truth and real wisdom in all his opinion-forming and decision-making. As You are the author of absolute, unchanging truth and the only source of divine wisdom, which You have told us to ask for, I ask that You would provide these to Representative Vital. I pray that he would not perform the duties of his office out of desire for money, power or position, but that his heart and actions would follow Your leading. I pray this that he may receive Your protection, provision and blessing, both for himself and those he serves. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

Dear Greg,
Thank you for serving the people of Tennessee! Your job is surely difficult, to be pulled in many directions all at the same time as everyone has their own opinions of what your priorities should be.
I am reaching out to you, not to ask anything from you, but to encourage you in your work. I pray that you and your family are well and safe. I pray that you are strong and at peace for the task at hand each day. I pray that the one true source of wisdom, will fill you up and guide you always.
?Daniel 2:21-22 NLT?
[21] He controls the course of world events; he removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. [22] He reveals deep and mysterious things and knows what lies hidden in darkness, though he is surrounded by light.
1 Timothy 2: 1-4 says:
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Blessings to you, your family and coworkers,
Sherry Anderson
