Father God, I lift up this fine servant of her constituents, those people whom trust her to perform her duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before her. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intents set before her in legislation, personal decisions and public policies. May her balance of justice be served by true and fair weights and values. May the poor be given career work to care for their families. May the businesses in her district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the people she serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in her district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen and Amen

Father, I pray that You would break Senator Merritt's heart for what breaks yours. Give her the wisdom of Solomon and open her eyes to the Truth that will set her free. May Your word guide her in each decision that she makes in her State. Give her Your wisdom and discernment, so that she will walk in integrity and value life, all life and the values that You set. Touch her life and heart for others, truly understanding the needs of others. Do not allow her to be swayed by the popular trends, but guide her by Your righteous right hand. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Lord I life up Nikki to you and ask that you keep her and her family safe during this Christmas season. I pray that she would seek out the Lord as she leads her state and her country. I pray that she would come to know you in personal way this year and that she would seek you in all that you do!
