Lord God, I lift up Representative Ritchie Torres for You to give him Clarity of Mind, Your Wisdom, Revelation Knowledge, Blessings, Desire to Serve for the good of the people, and the good for America. He is in a Blue State and facing a conflicting and contradicting political situation because of what has been happening to America lately. Gude him to work across the aisle and come to and in agreement with the Republican Party. Make him see them as fellow workers in the United Sates of America's congress and drop the conflicting view he might have of them. And Lord, may Your Will be done on his realm as it is in Heaven. Dearest Lord, please guide Representative Torres in the way he should go, a path that honors and brings glory to Your Name. Thank You for his mother who worked so diligently to ensure that her children were well-cared for and succeeded in reaching their goals, and that his upbringing encouraged him to fight against poverty and stand for others so that they may rise above challenges as he did. Give him wisdom and clear focus as he works to help others, but Lord, please do not let him be blinded by the opinions of others, but may he clearly see the truth in all matters. May he work in cooperation with others, across party lines, for honorable government and legislation. The State of New York is changing, and I pray that as an American he will work to stand by our Constitution and against any form of foreign interference. Lord God, You have promised wisdom/understanding/discernment for those who ask. I pray that New York Representative, Ritichie Torres, will first and foremost, seek wisdom and understanding from You for every decision and plan. I pray he has understanding that the wisdom of men, his own or that of others, is no substitute for unfailing, divine wisdom from You.
