Lord God Alighty, look down upon this man who has chosen to serve in the body known as politics. I lift him before you this late night hour in prayer for protection, health, and safety at home, on travel and when with legislature duties. As the Apostle Paul prayed, so to do I, that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened to see the hope of and in his calling to serve his state. Grant him the understanding of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation Israel ought to do. Guard his reputation each and every day, that no wrongful purpose be concealed from him, and he has clear sight of the right path and correct answer. Bless his staff, family, those he loves, and those he serves with safety, health, and divine protection. Guard his decisions from those who would deceive to harm his name and reputation. In Jesus Holy Name Amen, Amen.

Father, I ask Your blessings over Representative Valadao as he works with the people of Los Angeles area who are fighting the fires, those who have lost their homes, those who need evacuation or to be rescued from these terrible fires. The people are hurting and everything is chaotic, as there are many questions to be answered. Please give him wisdom and discernment that can come only from You, Lord. Encourage him and give him the words to say to support the people. Thank You for his no nonsense, common sense, approach to government. May he be light and salt for California and for this government. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father GOD, we are amazed when we read and consider that you have made us Your heirs, co-heirs with Christ. We thank You for the words in the Bible that allows us to partner with You to stand in authority that you gave us to use. " Titus -2-10 says when we submit to authority we make teaching about God our Savior attractive. God relies upon us as believers not to obey earthly authority, because that means we are disobeying your heavenly authority. God so many people do not realize that You are our authority, there are so many man made laws people forget about the Constitution and change what God gave our Forefathers the Constitution to guide us the correct way. God we have accepted Your love and embraced Your plan. God we are so grateful for all you do, as we intercede for our nation, asking You for wisdom to allow us to pray and break down strongholds of the enemy. We ask for these plans in Jesus name. David I pray for you to step into Gods Light -ask Him to direct your prayers.

Father, I pray that David would hear and respond to the gospel message if her does not know You. I pray that You, in Your mercy, will give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions for his district. Enable him to carry out his duties with humility toward You and toward others. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We pray (first of all, according to 1 Tim. 2:1-4) for all people, especially those in positions of power and influence. Lead them to know You personally and intimately, to create just laws and abandon unjust ones; to make just rulings; to establish real enforcement that brings tangible change to mitigate social vices and bring wholeness; to create a fair and equitable society so we can live peaceful and quiet lives according to Your Word and promise.
