Roger Marshall (R)

Dear Lord, I do not know this man or anything about him, but PTL you do, so I implore that Your Holy Spirit will be working in and around his life and circumstances. I pray that he might be a man of faith or that he would be open to the working of Your Spirit and who will seek your wisdom, guidance and leadership; that he will seek you for his strength and sustenance for the choices, decisions and words that he shares as a representative of the people. Surround Representative Roger Marshall with people of strong principles and truth for their working platform and their agenda for the citizens of their state and the entire USA. "For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict." (Luke 21:15) Thank you, O' Lord for hearing our pleas and may Your Holy Spirit be at work cleansing our land and our government. May Your people be strong and bold, standing up for truth and goodness for all and striving to honor you in all they do. Thank you Oh God for hearing our pleas, our petitions for our representatives. Do a powerful work in the halls of Congress that there would be more calling on your name and your wisdom. Please continue granting your Grace to America and effect a change of spirit, of attitude and direction.

Father, I pray for Senator Roger Marshall. May he look to you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but as one called by you to carry out your will and justice. Show him his life as you see it and give him hunger and thirst for righteousness. May he see life is nothing is not lived for Jesus Christ. Protect him and his family.

Father, Give Roger Marshall the wisdom and courage to follow your lead.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Roger Marshall is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Marshall sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Our most gracious Heavenly Father, You have placed Roger Marshall in a strategic position as Senator in the state of Kansas. We pray his mind and heart will be attuned to You, constantly seeking Your Truth, discernment, wisdom and guidance and in return, speaking, planning and acting upon all that You provide. We pray that Senator Marshall will be a "man after Your own heart" and so would seek and experience an ever-deepening relationship with You, Jesus--the One who is above all things. Surround him and all that concerns him with a hedge of protection. May Your purposes for Kansas and America be carried out in and through the life and work of Mr. Roger Marshall. In the authority and power of the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Sen. Marshall know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing.
