He has a position where he is responsible for guiding my state. May he do so according to what your will is, Mighty God. Give him wisdom and revelation when choosing which way to vote, projects to select, and challenges to face. Cause him to work across the aisle with Republicans for a common cause. Guide him, Lord. Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of each issue brought before him. Light his pathway with truth and provide him a just balance in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, in health, welfare and prosperity, and those he loves and those he serves.
