Chris Erwin (R)

Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of every issue brought before him. Light his pathway in truth and provide him a just balance of the truth in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, those he loves and this he serves. Amen and Amen.

Father, please bless representative Erwin as he works for the State of Georgia. As a former superintendent of schools and other school positions, he understands the needs of teachers, parents and children. May you guide him, and give him wisdom as he works diligently to safeguard parental rights in schools and in the home. Give him courage to stand against any attempts to bring immoral literature into the schools and libraries that are totally inappropriate for any age. Children are to be nurtured and taught godly principles, and as a former educator, may he protect this sacred duty. May he value the sanctity of human life, all life, and may he protect the Constitution that was written with moral clarity. Encourage and strengthen him as the days continue. Keep him safe. Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Chris Erwin has taken deep root. We pray he is to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Erwin is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Georgia in the House of Representatives. I pray, in the name of Jesus, that Representative Chris Erwin be surrounded by spirit filled Christian prayer warriors who will speak Your Word of truth and Your values into his life. I pray in agreement with prayer warriors for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a softening of the heart that will enable Representative Erwin to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his heart. We pray that Representative Chris Erwin be convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5).
