Father God I lift this representative of the people of his district and state before the congress in prayer. Representing the views, values, and protecting their unique abilities to contribute to this great nation. Give unto him a unique understanding in these confusing and dificult times. Make clear the intent within legislation brought before him. Give him perfect values to justly weigh these matters before the congress and the nation. Grant special health, safety, and prosperity to him, his family, and the people he represents before the nation. Preserve that which is special and dear to him. In Jesus name I pray. God be glorified in the name of your son. Amen and Amen.

Lord, I ask Your blessings over Speaker Evans as he presides over the business of the legislature of Arkansas. Give him godly wisdom and counsel so that he may serve You better. May he walk according to Your will and purpose. May he walk in integrity and with resolve to see transparency in government, working towards the betterment of his State and all of the United States.
