Ayanna Pressley (D)

Father God, again a person I do not know how to pray for; Lord I repent for not having true love in my heart for these Democratic representatives as I attempt to bring them before your throne. I do not know this person or her heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit her to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of her eternal soul and her life, that she might be redeemed and that she might make a positive impact on other lives she encounters. Lord God, draw her unto yourself and Your purpose for her life. Oh Lord, Oh Lord God and Jesus. we lift before you Ayanna Pressley and In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this woman that You would do a work in her life, in her heart that she might see Your Will and discern your direction for her and her purpose and mission in Government. May she open her heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of false, harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences May your Spirit be at work in her life and circumstances. Jesus, Holy Spirit, hear my words and mumblings and present them to the Father for His perfect working in lives. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; I pray You do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit to bring awakening and renewal to the hearts of the people unto Yourself.

Dear God and Father and Lord Jesus Christ, You tell us to supplicate, pray, intercede, and give thanks for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in Your sight. So I thank You for giving us leaders, and ask today that You would intervene in the affairs of men, that You would please govern our nation as You see fit. Thank You for Your miraculous help.

We pray, in the name of Jesus, over Representative Ayanna Pressley: that she is convicted to accept Your Word, God, as her standard, to store up Your commands within her, to turn her ear to wisdom and apply her heart to understanding. We pray she is convicted to call out for insight, cry aloud for understanding, to apply the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2: 1-19). We pray that Ayanna: "Thus will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land and the unfaithful will be torn from it" (Proverbs 2: 21-22). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, I lift up Ayanna Pressley to you. According to Ephesians 1:17-19 I pray... That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto Ayanna Pressley the Spirit of Wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him: The eyes of her understanding being enlightened; that she may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of His mighty power, I also pray According to Ephesians 3:14-21 ... For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in Heaven and Earth is named, That He would grant PAyanna Pressley according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in her hearts by faith; that she, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that they might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Lord, Representative Ayanna Pressley has been placed in a position which requires Your wisdom and Your guidance to carry out in ways that bring blessing. We pray that Ms. Pressley would have eyes to see You and ears to hear You and a heart that recognizes Your ultimate power and authority. As she proceeds in Your wisdom and plan, Lord, bless her efforts and protect her and her household. It is in the name and authority of the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

Lord Jesus, Heavenly Father, I lift up Rep. Pressley to you and ask that you bless her for the sacrifice she makes in serving the citizens of Massachusetts and the nation as a whole. Open her heart to hear and respond to the Gospel message if she does not know you. Protect her, her family, and her staff from physical and spiritual harm. Remind her daily of the oath she swore to uphold when she was sworn into her office. Grant her wisdom and discernment regarding the constitution of the United States of America that each decision she is tasked to make would align with your heart and glorify your Son. I ask these things in Jesus' holy name and for the glory of Jesus may it be so. Amen
