Lance Gooden (R)

Father, I lift up Lance Gooden who is a Representative for Texas (5th District); and I ask that You would give Your angels charge over him and his family and his staff to keep them in all of their ways (Psalm 91 Protection and Numbers 6:24-26 Blessing). Clothe Lance with Your wisdom and Your grace for every decision that he needs to make. Guide and direct him in every area of his life in Jesus' name I pray.

Lord, let representative Gooden continually sense an awareness of You, possibly in ways that are tangible, and even in ways that guide him in understanding you more..that your will is accomplished in his legislative tasks daily. Please bring his home, family and office under your wings of protection.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Lance Gooden has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Gooden is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Texas in the House of Representatives. In Jesus name, Amen.

Praying for God's wisdom as you conduct the duties of your office for the good of the nation. May God's love be in your heart and may you be led by his spirit.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Lance Gooden. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Gooden to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Lance Gooden is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God, again a person I do not know or know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Lance Gooden to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. May he open his heart and mind to hear you, to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government and as a legislator. . May he seek wisdom, knowledge, understanding and truth for his position in working for the people of his state and for America. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw your favor and sustainment, but sweep the nation with your Spirit and Power. We pray all things in the Name and the Power of Jesus, your One and Only Son, who is the light, the hope and the atonement of mankind, your creation.
