Father i lift up Representative Steven Horsford. Thank you for his service to our country and to you. May he seek your wisdom in his decisions. May he not serve for money or power but as serving you, the God of creation and Savior of mankind. May he have repentance for sin in his life and seek to know Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Protect him and his family.

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Representative Steven Horsford. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Representative Horsford. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Steven Horsford be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Nevada and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representatives. Lord lift up to you representative Horsford, 4th District of North Las vegas. I pray that he would come under the conviction of the blood of Jesus-,and that his dreams would be filled Lord with the presence of you..and that his home would be filled with the Holy Spirit as well-,and his wife and children would come to him speaking words of wisdom..that are given to him by you.. in the support that a wife brings- and the Innocence that children have. May he humble himself before You-, in his daily duties as a representative of Las vegas.4th district, in Jesus mighty name- amen

Heavenly Father, we Pray Representative Steven Horsford is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Horsford sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father, in Jesus name, I ask for Steven to know Your goodness in his spirit, soul, and body as he serves the people of Nevada. Keep his mind from deception and let him know the truth. Let him know his own inadequacies and seek Your wisdom and direction for all the decisions he makes. (Pro 3:5-8) Amen.

Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and prayer of Gary G, I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going, and I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Steven Horsford to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Open his heart, his mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit.

Lord, I pray for Steven Horsford to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first in the important decisions that he makes for this Country!
