Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of Jim Baird. We pray that he cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, knows where his heart stands. If Jim Baird refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that his days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20) and that another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take his place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of Indiana and for America. In Jesus name, Amen

Please Lord Jesus guide the women and men in government in America, and around the world. Please remove evil from their hearts and minds, and replace evil with good and purity and holiness.

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Baird know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Lord God, we lift Representative Jim Baird of Indiana to You, interceding for wisdom and truth to guide his time, plan and action in the position he now holds. Lord, we pray that he would not rely on his own understanding, but in all his ways, Lord, we pray that he would acknowledge You, allowing You to direct his path in what is right, what is just and what is benefiting and gracious to his state and this nation. We pray that he would know the peace of God which is beyond understanding and comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Guard Mr. Baird, Lord, as he endeavors to walk in righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

Father, In the Precious name of Jesus, Lamb of God so precious. I stand forth in prayer for this servant of the people. Father protect from every lie, trick and deciet of the enemy. Cover family, loved ones, staff, and their families with the wings of the Almighty God. Defend their health, persons, and properties. Keep them safe. Make straight their paths. Give to your servant the Wisdom of Soloman and the heart of David. May the prayers of your people remove the obstacles in their paths. Light their way in darkness. Bring clear understanding of true purposes in that which comes before them. May their constituents prosper in the times ahead. Make clear the path of righteousness, and the true balance of justice in all things they do. Amen
