Brenda Carter (D)

Father, I pray for Representative Brenda Carter. Thank you for her service to us as our representative. May she seek you for wisdom knowing you are the true source of wisdom. I pray she would have a close walk with you through Jesus and act in accordance with your will. May she see how dear unborn children are to you and act to protect them. Protect her and her family.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Brenda Carter. We lift her up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that she be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into her life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Representative Carter to receive revelation of Your truth and values into her spirit. We pray that Brenda Carter is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father. I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going, and I pray that the hearts and minds of our leaders in government will be influenced by your presence in their lives. I pray this morning for Representative, Brenda Carter and ask you to bless her with your divine wisdom and knowledge as she and other government representatives struggle with the issues facing our world today. Bless she and her family, keep them all safe, strengthen all of them and may she continue to seek your divine guidance in her decision-making process affecting all of mankind. May we all put party bias and personal agendas aside as we seek the righteous path you would have us all follow. Thank you, Father, for hearing my prayers today. Amen.

Great God, Creator of all there is, we take up the mantel of intercession for Representative Brenda Carter this day. In all humility, we pray that she will humble herself before You, acknowledging You as God, whose righteous and holy nature requires obedience...whose Word is absolute and unchanging Truth...whose authority is without equal or end and yet the God whose heart is attuned to and desires relationship with her. May her life and her office bear witness to this as You guide and guard her ways. May Representative Carter's words, actions, decisions and plans bring You honor as she serves You and this country. In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen

Lord Jesus, Heavenly Father, I lift up Rep. Carter to you and ask that you bless her for the sacrifice she makes in serving the citizens of Michigan and the nation as a whole. Open her heart to hear and respond to the Gospel message if she does not know you. Protect her from physical and spiritual harm. Remind her daily of the oath she swore to uphold when she was sworn into her office. Grant her wisdom and discernment regarding the constitution of the United States of America that each decision she is tasked to make would align with your heart and glorify your Son. I ask these things in Jesus holy name and for the glory of Jesus may it be so.
