Tina Smith (D)

Father, I pray for Tina Smith. Thank you for her service to our country. May she not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. I pray that during this shutdown, she would not desire to have us spend more money, but give her a desire to see us spend wisely. Draw her to yourself and give her a desire to seek you for wisdom. Give her a love for unborn children and a desire to protect them and their mothers. Protect her and her family.

Proverbs 9: 10(NASB)"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Father, give Senator Smith wisdom and the fear of the Lord so that his state may prosper.

Lord God, the hour is critical and America stands at a tipping point. We need leaders who understand their own ability, wisdom and understanding is not nearly enough. We need leaders who willingly confess that which is wrong and stand for what is right before You. We need leaders who understand that they need to seek You for help, for wisdom, for discernment and guidance. Work in Senator Tina Smith's heart that she would seek You in her life and all her ways, endeavoring to co-partner with You in her life and in this important office and the tasks associated with it. I bring her before Your throne, praying this in Your name, Jesus, Amen

Lord, through her I ask may she be the godly leader You have chosen. May her heart yield to You, and through her grant those in this state and us in other states righteous victory where You alone are glorified. Be glorified or be quick to place one in her place for which YOUR will is done. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I pray, amen.

Lord, cause her thoughts and actions to become agreeable to Your will or give her office to another. In Jesus name Amen!

Lord God, I am repeating my previous prayer for Senator Tina Smith. May there be an awakening among many Democrats, that they would repent and move away from much of their ideology. Father God, again a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this woman or her heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Senator Tina Smith to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of her eternal soul and her life, that she might be redeemed and that she might make a positive impact on other lives she encounters and in her work. Lord, draw her unto yourself and Your purpose for her life. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this woman that You would do a work in her life, in her heart that she might see Your Will and discern your direction for her and her purpose and mission in Government. May she open her heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences and not to be a lock step minion of her party. Awaken her to the realities of Constitutional Republic government and how it works for the people ; how it is her duty to understand and uphold those principles. Thank you o' God for hearing the pleas of your people, for your Spirit working among the representatives of the people and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it your favor, your guidance, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit. We come to you Father in the Name and by the Power of Jesus Christ.
