Dear Lord , I pray that you would touch Maria's heart. I pray that she will see the damage and pain she is causing . I pray that you will open her eyes and know yor goodness and your loving kindness. In Jesus Name, Amen

Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto her the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of her understanding be enlightened that she know the hope of your calling. May she be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of each issue brought before her. Light her pathway with truth and provide her a just balance in all things represented to her. Guard and protect her, in health, welfare and prosperity, and those she loves and those she serves. Give special grace to her staff to accurately represent her positions with integrity. Amen and Amen.

Father, I ask Your blessings over Senator Cantwell as she has served our nation for so many years, and her desire is to work well with both sides of the Senate in order to safeguard the welfare of all Americans. Please give her guidance in resolving this government shutdown, as she feels that it should be resolved in a fair manner in order to protect the American citizens who are suffering from this wrongful leadership. Please use her to speak boldly and courageously, not as others would insist upon, but based on honest appeals for justice. Father she realizes the wrong doings, as do many of her colleagues who are afraid to speak for truth. Because of this many have suffered, possibly irrevocably without divine intervention. Lord, You are able to do all things, impossible things. Please move on behalf of Your people and please touch Senator Cantwell's heart and draw her closely to Your side. Manifest Your presence in her life, Lord. This I ask in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, it is my prayer that Senator Cantwell will see the evil that is being done by the policies and legislation she supports. May she recognize her participation and repent. The current example is her support of the shutdown of the government which is causing great hardship for many Americans. Please intervene, Lord, and change her heart. In Jesus' name. Amen.
