Father, I pray for West Virginia Senator Patricia Rucker. May she seek you for wisdom, not leaning on her own thoughts. Give her discernment about issues. May she hunger and thirst for righteousness and bow before Jesus as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Patricia Rucker. We lift her up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that she be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into her life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Senator Rucker to receive revelation of Your truth and values into her spirit. We pray that Patricia Rucker is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in Heaven and Earth is named, That He would grant Senator Patricia Rucker according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in her heart by faith; that she, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that they might be filled with all the fulness of God. Lord God, we lift Senator Patricia Rucker to You. We pray that she would not operate in fear of man nor fear of the schemes of man, but would fear You, Lord. Your Word says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His instructions have good insight. . ." Ps 111:10 This is true for any person and as it pertains to those in government positions, it is especially important. We need leaders who operate in holy reverence and fear of You, Lord--the ultimate and final authority, ruler and judge, because this is where true wisdom & insight are birthed. We need leaders who operate in accordance with God-given wisdom and eternal, never-changing truth for in this are blessings and not curses brought upon a land. Move and work in Senator Rucker's heart and life, Lord, to make her just such a leader, that her legacy would be one that honors You and one that is noted for being a true help to those she serves. Guide and guard her in this quest, Lord. In the authority and power of the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen
