Oh Lord, our governor, your glory shines throughout the world. We commend our nation to your merciful care, that we may live securely in peace and may be guided by your providence. Give all in authority the wisdom and strength to know your will and do it. Help them remember that they are called to serve people as lovers of truth and justice. In Jesus name, Amen.

Beloved I pray you prosper in all things, and be in good health even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1-2 Christ in you the hope of glory, .greater is HE. I pray for you to truly know the love of Jesus Christ and live it.

Heavenly Father, May it be that our legislators do as You tell us in Your Holy Word: "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." 1st Corinthians Chapter 10

Father God, cause his thoughts and actions to be agreeable to Your will or give his office to another. In Jesus name! Amen!

Heavenly Father, we lift Chris Van Hollen up to You today. Draw him close to Yourself, Your wisdom, and Your ways through Your grace. Lord, we ask that You would help lead him in making the right decisions that align with what You would like to accomplish in Your will and Your plan. Amen

Romans 12:2 says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect".

Father, I lift up Senator Chris Van Hollen. Thank you for his service to our country. May he look to you for wisdom as he serves, and may he not serve for money or power, but as serving you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness that he may seek life in Jesus Christ, Creator and Savior. Protect him and his family.
