I pray, in the name of Jesus, over Representative Josh Gottheimer: that he is convicted to accept Your Word, God, as his standard, to store up Your commands within him, to turn his ear to wisdom and apply his heart to understanding. I pray he is convicted to call out for insight, cry aloud for understanding, to apply the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2: 1-19). "Thus (he) will (be prepared to) walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land and the unfaithful will be torn from it" (Proverbs 2: 21-22). In Jesus name, Amen.

Again, Oh Lord, I present a previous prayer and pray for the working of Your Spirit in the life and circumstances of Representative Gottheimer. May he hear you, may he seek wisdom from you, may he respond to you and be guided by you in his decisions and actions. We pray that Jesus, our advocate will be interceding for him. Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and prayer of Gary G, I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going, and I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Josh Gottheimer to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Open his heart, his mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit

Almighty Father, grant Josh the wisdom to find your truth and courage to obey.

Father God, I lift up this fine servant of his constituents, those people whom trust him to perform his duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before him. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intentions of law and regulation set before him, personal decisions and public policies. May his balance of justice be served by true and fair weights and values. May the poor be given careers, work that pays wages that they might to care for their families. May the businesses in his district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the people he serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in his district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. Care for and cover him, his loved ones staff health, safety and well-being. In Jesus Holy Name. Amen and Amen

Father, thank You for Representative Gottheimer and his desire to work together with both parties to make our government strong and accountable. Give him Your wisdom to restore our nation's safety and security at the border and within our military. May he stand by and defend our national security, sovereignty and our Constitution. May he stand in support of Israel and speak up in her defense. Guide him by Your righteous right hand, Father. May he walk in integrity and with justice. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I lift up Representative Josh Gottheimer. Thank you for his service to you and our country. May he look to you for wisdom, not serving for money or power, but as serving you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to know Jesus as the way, the truth, and the Life. Protect him and his family.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of Josh Gottheimer. We pray that he cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, knows where his heart stands. If Josh Gottheimer refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that his days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20) and that another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take his place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of New Jersey and for America.
