Mike Johnson (R)

Father, I pray for Speaker Mike Johnson. Thank you for his service to you and our country. May he seek you for wisdom in his decisions and may he stand strong for what is right. May he not serve for money or power or fame but as serving you. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and continuing walk with Jesus, Creator and Savior. May all he does be done to please you. Protect him and his family.

Lord God I lift up Speaker Mike Johnson. Lord I ask for the power of Elijah in his life! Father, give him the strength to stand up against all the Goliaths in his life. Give him the Godly wisdom, knowledge and understanding he needs to go forth in all ingodly enviroments. Give him the fortitude to stand agains the evil adversities he faces along his path. I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen

I pray that Speaker Mike Johnson remembers that he is accountable to You, God (Proverbs 9:10), created in Your image (Genesis 1:27), for Your plan and Your purpose. That You so loved the world that You gave Your only begotten son so that Mike Johnson should not parish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). I pray for his conviction of Psalm 111:10 that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding." I pray that Mr. Johnson will have the courage to resist manipulation, peer pressure and the fear of man (2 Timothy 1:7). Grant him wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and the desire for honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3). Remind him that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God (Hebrews 9:27). In Jesus name, Amen

Using the words of Spurgeon, from the April 19 reading in Streams in the Desert 1, I pray that our Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, will not be discouraged in any way. God has placed you in this position for this time: "Stand still"...keep the posture of an upright man, ready for action, expecting further orders, cheerfully and patiently awaiting the directing voice; and it will not be long ere God shall say to you, as distinctly as Moses said it to the people of Israel. "God Forward" The Spirit of God will handle the battle; for it is His doing that you are as the watchman who intervenes in the affairs of saving America.

Dear God, Thank you for men like Mike Johnson, speaker of the House of Representatives and Representative for the state of Louisiana, who are working toward upholding and uplifting the Constitution and the people; keep him strong in his principles and his resolve. I pray Thanking you Oh, Lord that he is a person of real faith and strength; that he is looking to You for wisdom, guidance, knowledge and understanding, that he keeps himself surrounded by people and advisors of strong character, honesty, truth and knowledge, caring and compassion. Thank you for his boldness and strength; may he continue in that for the people of Louisiana and the US. Provide protection and security for his life, his work , his service, his family; may his service and intentions be first to you and Your plans and purposes. Thank you for the people you are using and the ways your are working in America to work your plans and purposes to restore us to a GODLY, Compassionate and Loving people who promote and share your grace and your love, offered and declared for obedience to your precepts and commands. Display your strength for Your people and your displeasure with the disobedient to bring honor and glory to Your Name. Thank you, O Lord for hearing our pleas and our mumblings.

Lord, man will attempt to break House Speaker Johnson's discernment and Your wisdom. I ask You to set a watch guard around him. Protect his mind, and give him the ability to stay focused and disarm confusion that tries to chain him. I ask this in Christ name
