Lord God Alighty, look down upon this man who has chosen to serve in the body known as politics. I lift him before you this late night hour in prayer for protection, health, and safety at home, on travel and when with legislature duties. As the Apostle Paul prayed, so to do I, that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened to see the hope of and in his calling to serve his state and this nation. Grant him the understanding of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation Israel ought to do. Guard his reputation each and every day, that no wrongful purpose be concealed from him, and he has clear sight of the right path and correct answer. Bless his staff, family, those he loves, and those he serves with safety, health, and divine protection. Guard his decisions from those who would deceive to harm his name and reputation. Prosper him, his loved ones, staff, and constituents such that they may contribute greatly to the needs and purposes of good in their state and this land. In Jesus Holy Name Amen, Amen.

Father, thank You for Representative Scott's desire to safeguard the Constitution and stand in support of legislation that supports the welfare of our citizens and security at our borders and within our nation. Guide him as he works across party lines to ensure that the welfare of American citizens is primary, and that unity in government is necessary in order to uphold the high standards of our nation. May he continue to walk in integrity and always do what is right, regardless of what others, even his own party do. Please use him as a catalyst for change and for upholding the high standards of One Nation Under God. As leaders they have to stand in solidarity, and I pray that he will find a way to work with all members of government in order to ensure a sound and exemplary government standing in our world. Bless him and bless him indeed. May he serve You well, Lord. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Bobby Scott. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek you for wisdom and truth. Give him a love of unborn children and a desire to see them grow and develop. Give him a desire to protect pregnancy resource centers as they help babies and their families. Protect him and his family.

Father God, Virginia needs God-minded, wisdom-seeking, truth-defending and servant-hearted leaders. Work in the heart of Representative Bobby Scott that he would be one such leader. Amen

Dearest LORD, I ask Your blessings over Representative Scott and his family; watch them and protect them, and draw them to Your side. Please, Abba, work in his heart, open his eyes to Your truth regarding the issues that face our nation and world today. Give him Your wisdom and guidance with regard to our position standing in solidarity with the nation of Israel and the importance we play in Your plan. Give him a heart of understanding that we all need to stand beside our President and the administration in unity, and when differences arise that it is also wise to come together and reason together, respectfully, without letting the world see the internal struggles and debates. This is a sign of weakness that our nation should not let the world see, and our children especially need to see adults setting a better example. As we teach our children to play nicely, so let our adults, our leaders demonstrate the same respect to the leadership of this nation and others. Let them walk in wisdom, redeeming the time, let their speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so they know how to give an answer to everyone. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
