Dearest LORD, I ask Your blessings over Representative Scott and his family; watch them and protect them, and draw them to Your side. Please, Abba, work in his heart, open his eyes to Your truth regarding the issues that face our nation and world today. Give him Your wisdom and guidance with regard to our position standing in solidarity with the nation of Israel and the importance we play in Your plan. Give him a heart of understanding that we all need to stand beside our President and the administration in unity, and when differences arise that it is also wise to come together and reason together, respectfully, without letting the world see the internal struggles and debates. This is a sign of weakness that our nation should not let the world see, and our children especially need to see adults setting a better example. As we teach our children to play nicely, so let our adults, our leaders demonstrate the same respect to the leadership of this nation and others. Let them walk in wisdom, redeeming the time, let their speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so they know how to give an answer to everyone. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father God in the name of your Son Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I pray over Bobby Scott and ask you to let your salvation reign in his life. I pray that you would increase him in your divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding of your leadership for your nation. Sharpen his discernment and help him to do what is right in your sight. Please protect him and his family from death, raging and violent spirits in Jesus name. I bind all spirits of retaliation that would try to rise against this prayer and I declare that me and my family is covered under the blood of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I raise prayer for this elected official in the dark hours of the night. Grant and bless him the wisdom of the men of Issachar, that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Protect and defend his voice as he represents the best interests of those he serves. Make clear his pathway, provide just weights for his scale of judgement in complex issues. Light his path in the hope of his calling. Grant health, safety, and prosperity to him, those he loves, his staff, and those he represents through the times ahead. Amen, Amen in Jesus Name.

Father, please bless Representative Scott for his concern for the safety and welfare of our nation. May he walk circumspectly, discerning truth with wisdom that comes from above. May he trust in You with all his heart and lean not to his own understanding, but in all his ways may he acknowledge You, Lord, and you will direct his paths. May he walk in unity with the current administration, finding common ground and not finding fault. May he walk in integrity and with justice, and may he always do what is right, even if it goes against the grain. May he defend our Constitution, support Israel, and protect the vulnerable.
