Father, I lift up Lonnie to You tonight. Please help him to listen with an objective ear to the people who are coming forward for the appointments. I pray that he will have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. Deliver him from opinions that are contrary to Your Word. Help him to accept wise counsel. Lord, we lift up to you Senator Lonnie Paxton. Only you know his heart and we ask you to speak to his heart your words of wisdom, tender mercies and love. Stir his heart to fear you for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We ask you to heal every area of his life that needs your touch: physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially, relationally. Allow him and cause him to hear your voice. Strengthen him to courageously do your will.Amen, so be it.
