Lord, through Darin LaHood I ask may he be the godly leader You have chosen. May his heart yield to You, and through him grant us righteous victory where You alone are glorified. Be glorified or be quick to place one in his place for which YOUR will is done. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Father God, Thank you and praise You for the divine purpose for which You created Darin LaHood. I pray he fulfill that purpose to the fullest measure. I pray he represents You well in his service to our nation and in his life. Draw him ever so close to you that He will see as You see and he hears Your voice above all others. I pray for courage to trust and obey You. Manifest Your presence within him pouring out wisdom and understanding, council and might, knowledge and FEAR OF THE LORD. I pray for a pure and humble heart for Darin and divine protection over his mind and his health, and that of his family. "Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your God. " Micah 6:8

Father, I pray for Darin LaHood. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he serve not for money or power but out of love for our country and our constitution. May he see things as you see them and walk in integrity in the decisions he makes. Open his heart to you that he may walk fully in the grace of God in Jesus Christ. Protect him and his family.

Father in Heaven, please bless Rep. Darin LaHood as he serves as a Representative for the people of his District. May it be said of him that he always sought godly wisdom and guidance in the decisions he made. Please give him the courage to stand for Truth and justice, relying on the insight that comes from your Spirit. Please provide for him and his family and protect them from the wiles of the Evil One. May his actions help to lead our nation in the paths of righteousness that will honor God and bring about his blessings on our nation.

Father in heaven, I praise You and give You honor BECAUSE you deserve all of the glory. Thank you for appointing and anointing Darin LaHood to serve in the IL House for this season. I pray that he has a backbone of steel as he stands on Your Word and that he will not compromise. Lord, give Darin LaHood wisdom from above, strategies to implement and draw him ever closer to You. May his light glow in the midst of darkness, may he have favor with his colleagues for positive change in the government of Illinois. Lord, keep him, his staff and his family safe with Your hedge of protection,

Lord God, thank You for Darin LaHood. Father, I pray he would be the godly leader You desire him to be. The voice of Truth and Your vote of mercy when mercy is due, Your vote of righteousness at all times, and justice when justice is due. Be glorified in all he says and does; may he help lead government in and for Illinois to greater and greater levels of godliness. And above all we thank You that You alone see when such a leader needs replaced. So in him let his life be a reflection of the Christ or may he be replaced by someone who will. As spirit filled Christian prayer warriors, we continue to lift Representative Darin LaHood to You, Lord. We pray for his ears to hear and his eyes to see all that You are speaking into his spirit as he represents the 16th Congressional district of Illinois in the House of Representatives. Bring Your Words to his remembrance when difficult decisions are before him. Convict Representative LaHood to put Your standards first and to uphold Your plan for America. Bring to his memory that we are meant to be one nation under God. Remind him of words written in 1870: "We, the people of the State of Illinois, grateful to Almighty God for the civil, political and religious liberty which He hath so long permitted us to enjoy and looking to Him for a blessing on our endeavors." We pray for the protection of Your angel armies from unrighteousness and injustice that the enemy has unleashed in America. Cause Mr LaHood to become aware that Your plan for America is one of justice, righteousness and moral standards as written in Your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen
