Steve Stafstrom (D)

We are called to pray for all. So I ask the Lord to give you light where there is darkness, to give you words of peace in the face of contentious. May whatever causes you anxiety be submerged under the loving presence of the Lord.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Steven Stafstrom. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Stafstrom to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Stafstrom is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Galatians 6: 9(NAS)"Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary." Father, give Representative Steven Stafstrom new strength as he waits on You. Give him wings like eagles to run the race set before him and to not get tired as he walks in the works You prepared beforehand for him to do. Let him not become weary, because Your joy Lord, is his strength. Thank You Jesus, that You died and rose again and ascended to heaven to give us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure us. Thank You that Senator Cruz is our Senator in Texas. Amen. Isaiah 40: 31, Ephesians 2: 6; 10, Nehemiah 8: 10, Luke 10: 19

Father, in Jesus name, have Steven know Your goodness in his life as he serves the people of Connecticut . Let that knowledge determine how he makes wise decisions for the welfare of the citizens he serves. Send him wise counselors that lead him in the way that pleases You. Strengthen him in his spirit, soul, and body. Amen.
