Jehovah Jireh our provider thank you for Governor Abbott who has been a blessing to Texas. Provide him with steadfast faith. I pray for his burdens to be lite and his yoke be easy for with God nothing is impossible amen.

Father God, thank you for Governor Abbott who has demonstrated honorable leadership in his daily decisions for the goodness of the state of Texas. Now Lord guide him in these perilous times with wisdom. Bless this man with heart for you to seek first the kingdom of heaven and its righteousness and every thing else will be added onto (us) him. Thank you Lord God amen.

Prayer for our governor: protection in the state of Texas and keep Muslim influences out of our states politics.

Abba Father, I bring this dear man of God before Your throne of grace to find help and mercy in time of great need. We turn to You as the Author and Finisher of our faith. Bless Governor Abbott in all his ways, in all he does. Give him wisdom and discernment to battle his way through the decisions he has to make with regards to the safety of the people involved in this flood. Help him locate those missing, strengthen all who are involved in this life-saving and threatening mission. This is so difficult for him, as I can feel his frustration, his sadness, his helplessness as he looks into the face of those who have lost their loved ones, homes. This was a sudden thing, Father, and we do not understand it. But we know that our trust and faith is in You, and Governor Abbott knows that so well, as he trusts you, and his faith is so strong. Give him the support he needs spiritually, emotionally, strategically, and tangibly in all ways. Uphold him with Your righteous right hand. Thank You, Father God, I pray in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Oh, Lord God, the King of the Universe, I come before you on behalf of Governor Abbott. I pray, Lord, that he will make decisions based on truth and righteousness and not on what it will do for him politically or financially. I pray he will cry out to you continually, seeking your guidance in all the tough decisions he faces daily. Lord, guide him and draw him into a personal relationship with you that he will recognize he's accountable to You and, therefore, want to make Godly decisions that are pleasing to You. Cause him to humble himself before you and to stand strong on Biblical principles no matter the cost and the pressure to do otherwise. May he put You first in all things and do his best to protect the people of Texas. May he recognize wisdom comes from You and You alone. Surround him with Godly people who will help him make decisions that are pleasing to You. I pray this in the name of Jesus, Your beloved Son. AMEN
