Father God, I lift this fine person before you who has chosen to serve in the public arena called politics.. I ask for a special set of blessings upon her throughout her service to the people of city, state, and nation. Gift her a special understanding of the intent and purpose of all brought before her as information and for action. Grant her the wisdom of the men of Issachar who had understanding of the times, and knew what their nation ought to do. Give unto her, her loved ones, staff, and constituents safety, health, and prosperity. Protect her and her reputation as you guide her through the many opinions presented, that she have the wisdom of Solomon to judge the truth of maters presented and act according to its honesty and value. Father, please bless and keep Senator Capito with Your wisdom and guidance as she works across bipartisan lines in Congress. Guide her in the way she should go, and give her the courage and boldness to continue to stand in unity and support of the present administration. People will not always agree, but give her the clarity of focus to work together in spite of differences in order to achieve the correct end or goal. Father God, thank You for Senator Capito's concern for the welfare of her constituents and for all Americans. As a retired educator, she understands and supports working with parents and ensuring the safety and welfare of our children while providing a comprehensive education without compromising their minds with inappropriate information. Give her your wisdom and discernment and a clear path, directing her as she works for the good of the American people. Do not allow her to be forced into make a decision that she feels is wrong, and give her wisdom to discern the evil agenda that has infiltrated our government.
