As spirit filled Christian prayer warriors, we continue to lift Senator Gary Peters to You, Lord. We pray for his ears to hear and his eyes to see all that You are speaking into his spirit as he represents Michigan in the Senate. Bring Your Words to his remembrance when difficult decisions are before him. Convict Senator Peters to put Your standards first and to uphold Your plan for America. Bring to his memory that we are meant to be one nation under God. Remind him of words written in 1908 in the preamble of the Michigan constitution: "We the People of the State of Michigan (are) grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings..." We pray the protection of Your angel armies against unrighteousness and injustice that the enemy has unleashed in America. Cause Mr Peters to become aware that Your plan for America is one of justice, righteousness and moral standards as written in Your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen

Father God, I pray for Gary Peters right now. Pray that he would seek godly wisdom, and not to depend on human wisdom. It only leads to evil doing. Manifest Your Holy Spirit in his mind, and his heart to reveal that you will nullify the counsel of politicians, who do not see You O God I pray. We want You to be glorified because we are simply asking for your intervention in Jesus name. Amen.

I pray, in the name of Jesus, over Senator Gary Peters: that he is convicted to accept Your Word, God, as his standard, to store up Your commands within him, to turn his ear to wisdom and apply his heart to understanding. I pray he is convicted to call out for insight, cry aloud for understanding, to apply the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God (Proverbs 2: 1-19). "Thus (he) will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous. For the upright will live in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the land and the unfaithful will be torn from it" (Proverbs 2: 21-22). In Jesus name, Amen.

Please Lord Jesus guide the women and men in government in America, and around the world. Please remove evil from their hearts and minds, and replace evil with good and purity and holiness.

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Sen. Peters know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.
