Brian Seaworth (R)

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Brian Seaworth. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Seaworth to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Brian Seaworth is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father God I thank you and am adhering to your word to pray for those in Authority that we may live a quiet and peaceable life. I lift up your servant Mr Seaworth. I ask that you will give him the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of you. That the eyes of his understanding will be enlightened and that he will know what is the hope of your calling for him. Lord help him in his decision making and to be a righteous Representative to his constituents. In Jesus name Amen

Lord God, maker of heaven and earth and of life, powerful and mighty--it is to You that we pray for America. It is to You we pray for the state of New Hampshire and it is to You that we intercede on behalf of Representative Brian Seaworth. Lord, the dilemmas of the day are more than any person or persons can approach in their own reasoning or ability, so we ask that divine wisdom and discernment be offered to and received by Mr. Seaworth that he would be effective in his office and beneficial to his state and country. Move and work in Representative Seaworth's heart and mind, Lord, instructing him in righteousness and moving him forward on paths of help, health and blessing for his constituency, his office and his household. We pray this be done to the praise of Your glorious grace and in the power Jesus' name. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Seaworth know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.

Lord of all, please hedge Mr seaworth about with Your hedge of protection and hedge of thorns that evil will not find its way to him nor him to any evil purpose. May he wisely evaluate and recognize the core issues before him and be blessed with greater grace to make hard choices. May he recognize the voice of the Good Shepherd and a strangers voice he will not follow. Let there be light in all his decisions and surround him with counselors of wisdom. Please sovereignly remove from him all deceptive staff who do not serve his interests or goals. Give him favor and success as he serves you. Give him "eyes to see and ears to hear"
