Lord God, rich in grace and mercy, we ask that You would impart Your Spirit and the mind of Christ to Speaker Pro Tempore Chris Pringle. We pray that his mind and heart would be open to You and to receiving that which You impart to him and that he would steward well that which You give him. We pray that as he allows You to guide his steps, You would also guard his heart. May the plans & work of Chris Pringle's mind and hands bear much good fruit as they honor You, Lord and as they serve Alabama well. Watch over Mr. Pringle and his household. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Rep. Pringle know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen
