Almighty Father and Savior grant Ed the courage to walk according to your will. In Jesus's name Amen

Father, I lift up Senator Ed Markey. May he look to you for wisdom and life in Jesus. May he not serve for money or power, but serving to bring your light to our nation. May he make decisions based on your word. Give him repentance for any evil in his life and a desire to walk with Jesus, the source of true life and joy.

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Ed Markey has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Senator Ed Markey is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "...The fear of the Lord - that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding," (Job 28:28). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Massachusetts in the United States Senate. Pray with me: Father, we often fall prey to the strategies of those who oppose You. One of those strategies is to allow our self-worth to be determined by what they think of us. How absurd. This has conformed us to their ways, defiled our message, and weakened our resolve. And it has no doubt offended You, as we have refused to honor Your Word and ways. Like Saul's Israel, we allow the giants to intimidate us. " We ask You to break this spirit of intimidation and its fruit of compromise off the church. Align us with Your plumbline of truth, which never has and never will change. Cause leaders in the church to fall in love with Your Word again, to have a renewed allegiance to it. Give us integrity enough to acknowledge how our neglect of Your Word has helped destroy our nation." In Yeshua's name. I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Ed Markey. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Markey to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Ed Markey is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). Lord I ask that your presence be felt as Wd reads these words from our father that gives light for his Life. God lives you just listen to His words.
