Mike Burns (R)

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Mike Burns. We lift him up, standing in the gap, under the authority, Lord Jesus, given to Your disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, we pray in Jesus' name that Mr. Burns be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Burns to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Mike Burns is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

Father, thank you for Rep. Burns and the work he is doing on behalf of his constituents. Give him listening ears. Open his eyes to Your desires for this state and his district. Light his path. Lord, reveal to him Your holy ways. Help him to protect children from evil; help him to protect women from exploitation, abuse and the abortion industry. Give him eyes to see what You see. Grant him courage and strength to stand up for what is Biblically right. Reform any thoughts that are not of You and Your ways. Protect him and his family. Amen.
