Bob Kressig (D)

Dear Heavenly Father, Please do not let the enemy have dominion in their lives, or blind their hearts and minds to the truth, or prevent them from doing the right thing in their position!

Father, I lift up Bob to You who is serving in Iowa. Open his heart to hear and respond to the gospel message, if he doesn't know You. Please teach him to trust in You and begin reading Your Word. Renew him by the power of the Holy Spirit so that he can enact laws which will promote godliness and honesty. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Father, I pray for Representative Bob Kressig. Thank you for his service to you and to Iowa. May he turn to you and walk with you, hungering and thirsting for righteousness. May he walk in integrity and seek you for wisdom. Turn his ears to your words and bring him into the kingdom to your glory.

Dear Lord Jesus, I lift up to you Bob Kressig for Your mighty hand of protection over him. Protect him in all his coming and going. Guide him, O Lord, in to a life changing relationship with You. Help him to see you, Jesus as his Savior and to trust you in all his ways. Help him Father God to rest in the Peace of Jesus and to rely on His strength as he serves the great state of Iowa, and not on his own. Thank you, Father. I ask is the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:1-6 KJV [1] We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. [2] Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification. [3] For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. [4] For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. [5] Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: [6] that ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord, please bless and keep Representative Bob Kressig and his family in Your care. Protect them and guard them from evil. I pray that he knows You and the hope to which You have called him. Please guide and direct him in all decisions and do not allow him to be swayed by unrighteous acts or man's opinion. Open his eyes to know the truth and to have to courage to stand for righteousness. Do not allow fear to cause him to compromise or make judgments based on the opinion of man. May he value the sanctity of human life and stand against the slaughter of innocent babies. Give him an understanding of the wrongdoing of recent laws and may he take the time to judge the validity of laws and gain clarity before he agrees or disagrees with an action. Give him discernment in all matters and may he safeguard the Constitution. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father in heaven, protect this servant of the people of his district in the public arena, in the home fields and in his home and office. May those who rise up against his choice of the righteous path come to fully understand the respect of God and the Fear of God to those who follow unrighteousness. Father may he be discerning in all things that he avoid deceitful messages and presentations, understand any meanings and intents that are subterfuge. In Jesus name Be God Glorified in the Son.
