Mark Higley (R)

Father, I pray for Mark Higley. Thank you for his service to Vermont. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a life with you through Jesus Christ, Creator, Redeemer. Give him a love for unborn babies and a desire to protect them and the prolife pregnancy centers that help both babies and moms. Protect him and his family.

Lord I offer now this prayer, this petition on behalf of Rep Higley and Your people who are called by Your name in Vermont, and for those to come who shall be called by Your name that through him You may be exalted and in thought, word and deed he may bring the light of Truth through his service. Guide and direct his life, as water being poured from Your hand. Be glorified in all he says, does and supports that those there and we elsewhere may lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way for we know this pleases You our God and Savior for it is by Biblical government the Gospel is spread openly and in all boldness that many may be saved and come to the knowledge of the Truth. I thank You knowing the Nations You have given as an inheritance to Christ our Savior and the Son in whom You were well pleased. It is in His name I pray, amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Mark Higley. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Higley to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Mark Higley is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.

On this day that we celebrate the birthday of America, we pray that Representative Mark Higley will be an instrument purposed for the reinstatement of the God-focused and Gospel-driven origins of this land. We pray that Mr. Higley will encounter the reality of Jesus Christ everyday--in all his comings and goings, in all his thoughts and plans and in all the works of his mind and hands. God, guide Representative Higley's steps and facilitate a heart-work that makes and keeps Mark Higley a true servant to the people of his state, this country and the Holy God who created them all. We pray this in the name, authority and power of the Living Lord, Jesus Christ! Amen
