Frederica Wilson (D)

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the opportunity and privilege of adding my voice to the spirit filled prayers that are being lifted by Your prayer warriors on behalf of Frederica Wilson. We pray that she cries out to You for mercy and salvation. Only You, Heavenly Father, knows where her heart stands. If Frederica Wilson refuses to be saved and to honor You and walk in righteousness and justice, we pray that her days in office will be few (Deuteronomy 16:18-20; Proverbs 8:20). May another, who is a spirit filled believer in Christ be elected to take her place (Psalm 109:8), according to Your will and Your plans for the state of Florida and for America. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord God, I lift Florida Representative, Frederica Wilson to You. I pray that she would trust in You with all her heart, realizing that her own knowledge, wisdom, and understanding is not enough for the tasks and decisions of the day. I pray that Ms. Wilson would pursue Your Truth, wisdom and direction above all, acknowledging Your unsurpassable ability to help, heal, lead, strengthen and protect. As she endeavors to lead, I pray she would follow paths ordained and laid by You, Lord, that her decisions, efforts and legacy would be noted as beneficial & healing to her household, office and state. Hold her fast, Lord. I pray for Frederica Wilson in Jesus' Name. Amen

Lord, thank you for Rep Wilson and her service to the state of Florida and the 24th district. We pray Your protection over her, her family, her staff and bless her with wisdom as she makes decisions. May she be surrounded by wise counsel and always choose the right thing not the popular thing. Ps 91:1 &2 says, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray these things in Jesus Name.

Father God, I lift up this fine servant of her constituents, those people whom trust her to perform her duties before the public in service to them. Oh God, mighty and everlasting make straight the paths before her. Give wisdom and clear sight of all intents set before her in legislation, personal decisions and public policies. May her balance of justice be served by a true and fair balance. May the poor be given career work to care for their families. May the businesses in her district prosper. May their profits spread in works of pubic good. May the burden on the governments so be reduced. Bless the the people she serves with health, strength, and compassion. Empower their ability to help those in need. May every one in her district be blessed in the doing of righteous deeds. May their baskets overflow with blessings. Amen

Father, I ask Your blessings on Representative Wilson and ask that You would encourage her as she stands for and supports those who are vulnerable and need assistance in so many ways. Bless her efforts in helping the young girls from Nigeria who were kidnapped by the Boko Haram to be released. This is very important and holds a special place in my heart, as I know there are others. Give her wisdom and discernment as she works with government leaders. Lord, as a former educator, she understands the importance of education and safeguarding the health and safety of our young ones. Please give her an understanding of the needs that are facing the parents and teachers who are responsible for the welfare of the children. Please help her to insure that appropriate guidance and education is provided with parental rights always considered. May she value life from conception until the end of life. Open her eyes to see truth and not be swayed in her opinion by others. May Your Word be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her path. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
