Father, I bring Representative Ruiz before You this evening, asking You to bless and encourage him. I pray that he knows You and that he knows that You have a plan for his life, even greater than the things he has already attained in life. Bless his parents who sacrificed so much to educate him and help him achieve his dream of being a physician. Lord, You have guided his career in the field of medicine and also into a seat in Congress. May he walk in Your ways as he serves this nation well working in solidarity with bipartisan members of Congress as well as the President and his administration. Give him a heart of understanding, and a willingness to always do the right thing, even when it is not popular to do so. May he walk in integrity and with great honor. Please give him wisdom and discernment in all ways, for all things. In Jesus' Name.

Father, I pray for Raul Ruiz. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but out of love for our country and our Constitution. Give him a love of truth and the willingness to reveal ungodliness in our government. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and life with you through Jesus Christ, Creator, Redeemer. Protect him and his family.

Father, Raul Ruiz is surrounded by evil adversaries in California. We pray that he will be tenacious in his service to the Constitution of the United States of America.

Father God, again a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Raul Ruiz to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Open his heart, his mind. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit.
