Angus King (I)

Lord God, truth and justice are inherent in Your character. When any of us desires to do good, these are non-negotiables as far as You are concerned. I pray this to be true of U.S. Senator Angus King. Lord, I ask that You speak divine wisdom, understanding and discernment to him and give him ears to hear it and a heart to follow it. I pray that he would strive to do what is good, to love mercy and to walk humbly with You. (Micah 6:2)

Father, I pray for wisdom for Angus King. May he give you glory in all he does. May he walk with humility before you and may your word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path.

Father, protect and give wisdom to Angus King. May he walk in humility before you, listening to your voice. Guide his steps.

Pray that you would be empowered today in Jesus name.

Almighty God, I lift Senator King up to You. May he know you as his King if he doesn't already. Give him wisdom from above in all of his decisions. May he be quick to listen and slow to speak. Give him the courage to vote in ways that please you even when they may not be popular. Protect him and his family from all harm. In Jesus' name. Amen

Father, I pray for Angus King. May he serve not for money or power, but out of love for our country and our constitution. May he honor you in all he does and walk in your wisdom. Give him a love for unborn children and a realization that they hare human from conception. Protect him and his family.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Senator Angus King. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. King to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Angus King is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
