Ron Wyden (D)

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator Ron Wyden. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Senator Wyden. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Wyden be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of Oregon and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, You reign supreme. Your kingdom, Your Word and Your person never end. We Pray that Senator Ron Wyden is increasingly aware of this and responsive to this true reality. Guide his steps, Lord. Guard his heart, Lord. We pray that Mr. Wyden's focus and practice would be to seek and follow paths of righteousness. We pray that as he sets about this, You would strengthen him, encourage him, enlighten him and grant him great wisdom, discernment and compassion. Grant him eyes to see and ears to hear You as You instruct, bless and protect him and may his heart be most thankful to You, Lord. In Jesus' name, power and authority we pray. Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Sen. Wyden know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Ron Wyden is convicted that he is created in the Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (James 1:5) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, each word that he speaks, each decision he makes and each action he takes against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Wyden sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven. We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Father God, nothing is impossible for You for You created all things and hold all things together by Your Word. I pray that Ron Wyden comes to a deep personal relationship with You through Jesus Christ. May he come to know Your everlasting love, Your wisdom, Your ways. Lord, we all need to know You more intimately and carry Your glory and Light to others.

Heavenly Father We humble our hearts and surrender to your will.  We ask for your spirit to infiltrate our souls, provide us with wisdom, and guide our every step and word we speak.  Father you know the burdens we carry, especially for those we love.  We understand our love for the lost and misguided, is also felt more deeply by you. Father we ask for your divine intervention and mightly conviction in opening up the darkened recesses of our loved one's heart, and those who are lost, living by lies & deceptions (serving forces of darkness of which they do not understand.  Forces that hate and despise them, and wish to see them perish in the eternal Lake of Fire ):  ones we are trying to reach with YOUR TRUTHS. Help them to hear the words of truth, that are centered on the love, forgiveness, and need for them to immediately repent & look to Jesus for eternal life & hope. Reveal to them - by opening the doors of Hell's tormenting eternal realm - the destiny that awaits them for their refusal to turn to Jesus. For those who continue serving the dark wicked deeds of their soul - who openly reject & mock Your Son -who are bringing harm towards the unborn, and destroying innocence, and perverting your truths ... let their lives be consumed with the torment and bondage they bring towards others.  Allow them no peace or rest, fill their days with unending confusion, chaos, and turmoil. For those living in outright sin & rebellion.... reveal to them the deceptions and bondage that has a tight grip over them....the danger centered on the absence of your blessings & protective covering over them because they have allowed your enemy control - the destructive pull of sins influence. Help them to realize the shortness of the days we are living, and to comprehend that their reliance on worldly gods will lead to their destruction.  For those who don't know Jesus, who are headed to eternal damnation .... reveal to them the torment & pain they will have to endure for all eternity. Pull them out of the grip of the demons who have them bewitched. Shake them awake, that they may desire to be released from their darkened bindings; to fall on their knees and cry out to the ONLY ONE who can offer true redemption & peace.         Jesus Christ the living SAVIOR ?? Show them the weakness & foolishness of the idols & false gods they worship. Give them understanding that one day soon they will kneel before YOUR THRONE and face YOUR JUDGEMENT for choices they have made Harm they have brought Destruction of life you placed Destruction of innocence Perverting your truths Rejecting YOUR SON. Father I also ask for your supernatural protection & divine covering over ALL Your children.  Comfort our fears and worries. Help us to stand strong as evil surrounds. We rely on your many promises and seek your guidance and covering over our lives.  Our enemies are many, but we look to you as our ULTIMATE MAJESTIC KING.  Hear our cries and many requests.  We thank you for all you do within and around our daily lives.  Things we can not see or fathom, your forces are surrounding us and doing daily battle.  We thank you and praise you for all you do for us.  Help us to walk continually worthy on your path, keep our ways straight, and let no deception or fear overtake us and pull us down. In the mighty and powerful name of our living Savior we pray and ask these things. Amen ?
