Mr. Monks,
I noticed your name did not appear on IFC's list of Republicans who voted for H.R. 8404. The Respect for marriage act. Thank you, profusely! This bill is not a respect for marriage. It is the opposite. It is a typical ploy of deception through words to destroy what God created, men and women to procreate to carry out His, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit's image into the world to partner with, through and to be caretakers of all His creation. God will not be mocked. He will hold all who try to be God rather than being an image of Him. They will be held accountable. This would be being cursed rather than blessed. I praise the Lord for your service in representing Him in This country He established. Thank you for "not going along to get along" concerning this evil bill! We need to honor God in all our ways after all our motto is"In God we trust". Please encourage, warn other Republicans who have voted for this bill to think twice and think hard because what appears (deception) to be a bed of roses is a camouflage for a "field of thorns"!

Father, I pray for Senator Jason Monks. Thank you for his service to our country. May he seek your face and your wisdom in decisions he makes. Give him a love of life for the unborn, seeing them as human beings with the right to be protected. Protect him and his family.
