Father, thank You for Representative DelBene's desire to work across bipartisan lines in order to meet the needs of the American people. May she put her trust in Your ways and Your guidance and not lean to her own understanding or put her trust in man. Too many times it seems as if legislation is passed playing following the leader without the individual taking the time to consider the content in its entirety. Please give her the wisdom and discernment to test and approve what is moral and just and not go with the popular consensus. Give her the courage and boldness to read between the lines and walk in integrity and righteousness. Bless her and her family and may Your word be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her feet. Lord God, I lift Washington Representative, Suzan DelBene before You. As she serves in this position, may she increasingly be acutely aware of her need to establish herself and operate in real truth. Holy Spirit, make her aware and desirous of paths of truth and righteousness. Lord, turn her heart to pursue those paths and that real truth which come only from Jesus, who alone is the way, the truth and the life.
