Father, thank You for Representative DelBene's service to our nation and for the knowledge she brings to Congress. May she know You, Lord, and the knowledge of Your will in her life. Draw her closely to Your side, so that she may understand the hope to which You have called her. Guide her as she works to ensure the safety of our nation and borders, and as she works to correct the broken immigration system. Lord, I lift Washington Representative, Suzan DelBene, before You in prayer. I ask that she would pursue real truth and justice. I pray that she would be willingly led by Your Spirit and not be motivated by selfish ambition. I pray that she would be a woman of prayer and of integrity who can honestly say, 'My God is the rock where I hide.' (Ps. 94:22) For You, Lord, will use such a woman for Your glorious purposes and as a channel of blessing for those she is privileged to lead.

Father, thank You for Representative DelBene's desire to work across bipartisan lines in order to meet the needs of the American people. May she put her trust in Your ways and Your guidance and not lean to her own understanding or put her trust in man. Too many times it seems as if legislation is passed playing following the leader without the individual taking the time to consider the content in its entirety. Please give her the wisdom and discernment to test and approve what is moral and just and not go with the popular consensus. Give her the courage and boldness to read between the lines and walk in integrity and righteousness. Bless her and her family and may Your word be a lamp unto her feet and a light unto her feet.
