Dear Lord, Guide & direct Mike Lee as he serves in government. Give him wisdom to discern your will, & deliver him from evil. May your will be done on earth as in heaven. Amen.

Father, I lift up Senator Mike Lee. Thank you for his service to our country. May he humbly seek you for wisdom as he serves. May he not serve for money or power but as serving you. Give his a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire for life through Jesus, Creator and Savior. Give him a love of children and a desire to protect the unborn. Protect him and his family.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator Mike Lee is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Lee sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Sen.Lee know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know that You alone are sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant an understanding mind to govern your people, so that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Please help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In the Name above all names Jesus our Messiah. Amen.
