Father, I pray for Morgan Griffith. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he humbly seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for money or power but because of love for you and our country. May he walk in integrity. Give him repentance for sin in his life. Protect him and his family.

Father, help Morgan to accept wise counsel. Teach him to trust in You. Protect him from the influence of the evil one. Give him discretion, foresight, and understanding in making decisions. Deliver Morgan from opinions contrary to Your Word. Enable him to carry out his duties with humility toward You and toward others. In Jesus' name, amen.

God we honor you today, we lift up our Leaders to you, keep them under your protection and share wisdom so Morgan knows what to say. Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of Morgan Griffith has taken deep root. We pray he has been convicted to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Representative Griffith is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding," (Psalm 111:10). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he represents Virginia and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the House of Representative.
