Christopher Coons (D)

Father God in Jesus name I pray for this man Christopher Coons of Delaware. Thank you for his heart to serve the people of his state and of this nation. I speak specifically to the difficult tasks facing his state. Raise up an army of intercessors to break any and every hold the enemy has upon this fine state. Let your Godly righteous light bring life, peace, and prosperity unto all within the borders of Delaware that they may be a shining example of good neighbors and helpful friends to all who travel there. Amen.

Dearest Lord, please bless Senator Coons' desire to work across bipartisan lines in order to form a cooperative system of government. May he continue to walk in integrity and unity of purpose to ensure that the needs of the people are being met. Lord his record shows that he works on behalf of the military to ensure they are equipped and supported; he also values and supports our precious veterans who have selflessly served our nation. As a minister he understands that we are made in Your image and according to Your word all life is precious. Please open his heart to understand the sanctity of human life and stand against abortion. May he understand how You feel about this medical practice and death of the unborn. Open his eyes to truth and guide him according to Your word, not the popular or cultural view. Please direct Senator Coons in all his ways that He may be well pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Dearest Lord, we bring Senator Coons before Your throne of mercy and grace. Forgive us, Lord, for how we have failed You, failed to keep Your commands. Hear our prayers, Lord, and heal our land. Please guide Senator Coons into all truth, according to Your word. As a professing believer in Christ guide him into truth regarding the sanctity of human life. You have created male and female and created us fearfully and wonderfully in Your image. May Senator Coons guard and protect all life. Forgive the sin of abortion, we ask in Jesus' Name. Give him wisdom concerning all things. As a pastor we ask for a fresh anointing of Your Holy Spirit over his life. Encourage him and lead him in the paths of righteousness for Your Name's sake.
