Father God Almighty, I pray for this public servant in accordance with your holy word that ��The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of God's calling in you.( Eph 1:18 )... And that your wisdom be as the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what their nation ought to do; (1Ch 12:32). For these are troubling and confusing times for our nation and this fine servant of the people deserves our prayers that the very best decisions be clear, that confusion be driven away. Let his hearing discern rightly if the truth or vanity is in the presentations before him. That he have confidence of the right decision in all things brought before him. Lord Jesus in your mighty name we pray for the health, safety, and prosperity of your servant, his family and loved ones, his staff, and those he represents. Prosper his constituents that they may contribute to the general welfare of his state and our nation, In Jesus name. Amen, and Amen.

Thank You, Father, for Representative Scalise and his long service in Congress. Continue to guide him as he works to stop the nonsense in Congress. May he walk in wisdom to those who do not understand, may his speech be with grace, seasoned with salt, so he will know how to answer each response. Encourage him and give him Your wisdom and discernment as he works alongside of other Congress members. Do not allow him to buckle to man, but may he put his trust solely in You. In Jesus' Name. We thank You for the strength and resilience You've granted him--especially in his recovery from the tragic 2017 congressional baseball shooting. May Your comfort and healing continue to renew his body and spirit. Guide him in his high calling as Majority Leader. Grant him wisdom in shaping legislation that promotes unity, security, prosperity, and faithfulness to You, especially on energy policy and national priorities ? ?. We also lift up his compassionate heart--as seen in his recent advocacy that led to the release of a longtime community member from ICE detention. May he continue to lead with both strength and mercy, remembering that behind every policy there are stories of real people. Bless his family--his wife and children.
