Father, we lift up every elected official in this country. We pray that You would give them strength and wisdom as they guide our country.

Lord & Savior Christ Jesus, Please protect this legislator & all legislators in America from evil. Please give them wisdom & power over the enemy. Please make them righteous & holy. Please show them The Truth, You Jesus.

"Answer me, O Lord, answer me, that this people my know that you, O Lord, are God." Father God, I lift up Senator Roger Wicker to you. I pray that you would open his heart to hear and respond to the Gospel Message if he does not know you. I pray from Proverbs 4:23 - Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life, and the prayer of King Solomon in I Kings on our leader. "Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that he may discern between good and evil." Pour out Your Spirit upon him. Shower him with your goodness and put a hedge of protection about him and his family. Protect him from the influence of the evil one and teach him to trust in you. Reveal to him by Your Spirit the marvelous truth of the Gospel. Give him discretion, foresight and understanding in making decisions. Grant him a heart of compassion toward those he leads and serves. Help him, like Jesus to love righteousness and hate lawlessness. Help him to have the courage to do the right thing even when urged to do the wrong thing. In Jesus name, Amen.

Take a stand for righteousness

Gracious Heavenly Father, may Roger Wicker know that it is Your hand and Your sovereign purpose that is keeping him and sustaining him in his divine commission. (Ps 38:12-15) Keep him, and those who serve him, safe from the enemy's snares and free from the accuser's traps. (Ps 141:9-10) By Your great hand, Lord, deal with those who oppose righteousness and justice so that all will know it is You alone who is sovereign and true. (Ps 64:6-9) In the Name above all names Yeshua Messiah. Amen.

Dearest Heavenly Father, I lift up Senator Roger Wicker to you and ask that you use this senator to help fulfill the needs of this nation. Give him divine wisdom and let him search and find knowledge (Proverbs 4:7) so he can vote responsibly and appropriately. Draw Roger to yourself and may he seek you before making any decisions for the senate or even personal decisions (Proverbs 4:11). Let his relationship with you grow and be strong during the tests that this nation is going through. Cause Roger to be one that works hard serving in the senate and not just a seat warmer. May he seek you always (Proverbs 18:10). I ask all of this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
