Mitch McConnell (R)

We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Minority Speaker Mitch McConnell. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into the heart/spirit of Mr. McConnell. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his Savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Mitch McConnell be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of the United States. In Jesus name, Amen

Father I pray for Mitch McConnell. Hold him up physically, emotionally and spiritually. Enable him to think clearly and keep him in Your Will. Thank You for his love for You and for the people he serves.

Father, I lift up Senator Mitch McConnell. Thank you for his service. Let him not serve for power or money, but as serving you, the Creator of all and Savior of all. May he look to you for wisdom and seek you for true life, the realization that Jesus is Lord and Ruler of all. Give him repentance for sin and a desire to live to glorify you, Lord God of all.

Remember that your mission on earth is to serve God not man. Remember that your time on earth is temporary. So serve God by example. Do not be lukewarm. Put God first in everything in your life. That will be your legacy sir. In Jesus name. Amen

Father God, Holy are You and worthy are You of all of our praise. You are sovereign and holy. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of coming before your throne in prayer. Father God I lift up Mitch McConnell to You and pray Your presence be with him and that You.would pour out wisdom understanding, holy righteous council, and fear of the Lord. I pray You give him the strength to trust and obey You. Your word says You can turn the heads and hearts of kings. Turn his head and his heart towards You. I pray for You to be glorified in his life and for him to finish well in righteousness and holy conviction to heed Your word and bring glory to Your name in all he does and says in this final chapter of his career and service to our nation, "Your nation" . "Repentance and rest will be your salvation, quietness and trust will be your strength." Trusting what the enemy meant for evil You will turn for good. 'May Your purpose be fulfilled and kingdom reign and any assignment of the enemy be broken in Jesus name that You will be glorified and made known to him and those who do not yet know You. In Jesus name.

Lord God, You alone know the real heart and mind of Sen. Mitch McConnell and his real motives and reasoning for how he conducts himself and the choices he makes in his Congressional voting, actions and statements. I pray O God that he knows You (I believe that he thinks he does, but he sometimes seem to make controversial statements and take questionable actions), that he will seek Your wisdom and guidance; I pray he seeks truth and strength from a relationship with you. May Your Spirit be working in and around his life, his circumstances and his choices and decisions; create conviction and steps to repentance where they are needed that he might make good choices for his constituents, his state and for America. Keep him strong and provide support, advice, understanding and knowledge, even conviction to stand for strong principles and values for America or remove him from Office, for the good of the nation. I thank you Lord, that he is stepping down from Leadership, because it seems he has lost some of his cognition and some of his physical stamina. Lord, we thank you that you love America and your people and I pray, Father, for much repentance and much humility to/for the working and leading of Your spirit and in recognition of who You are, of Your Plan for life, your offer of atonement for our sins and hope for life here on earth and beyond to being with You in heaven: I pray this for our "leaders" and for our nation. Repair our nation and our land; forgive US in America; keep us standing with Israel. May your Spirit sweep this nation and may you provide hedges against the powers of satan and his demons. Thank you, O, Lord, for hearing our pleas and we pray in /by the Name of Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit.
