We lift our voices in prayer and thanksgiving for Senator John Thune. We pray for a revelation of Your Word of Truth and Your values into his spirit. Enable him to see himself as You see him (Genesis 1:27; Ephesians 2:10), to humble himself before You (Isaiah 66:2), repent of his sins, transgressions and iniquities (Psalm 51:17; John 8:3-11), and seek Your forgiveness and the forgiveness of anyone he has sinned against (Matthew 6:14-15; Mark 11:25). If he does not know You as his savior, we pray he would have a saving encounter with You (Ephesians 1: 17-23). We pray that Senator Thune be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of South Dakota and fulfills his duties and responsibilities in the Senate. In Jesus name, Amen

Heavenly father, watch over us senator John Thune. Lord, direct his path, make him strong and courageous to stand against evil, and for justice and truth. I pray for his salvation, if he does not know you. And for a renewed sense of his purpose in light of his salvation, if he is saved. Thank you Lord for his service and for his moral integrity. Help him to be strong and courageous in the battle that is up before him. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray amen.

Heavenly Father, we Pray Senator John Thune is convicted that he is created in Your image; woven together in the womb of his mother by Your hands, from conception to birth, for Your purpose and Your plan (Psalm 139:13-16) at this time in history. Lord God, we pray he be convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge and understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and to demand of himself honesty, integrity, and loyalty (Psalm 26, Proverbs 11:3), righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:15). We pray he is convicted to measure every thought, word, decision and action against Your precepts (Psalm 111:10). We pray Mr. Thune sees our constitution as our founding fathers intended. May he be convicted that America was discovered, explored, settled and founded as Your city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) for the purpose of sending Your message of Salvation to every person, place, tribe and nation under heaven (Rev. 14:6). We pray that he is convicted that he must be "prepared to give an account to Almighty God" (Hebrews 9:27; Romans 14:12). In Jesus name, Amen

Lord, it is for such a time as this that You have allowed Senator John Thune a position of governmental responsibility and authority in South Dakota. We pray that You will place in his hands, all that is needed for him to live and work and move in Your Truth and by Your Spirit. Lord, we ask that Mr. Thune would be instrumental in his state operating in accord with real and eternal Truth and this nation returning to its commitment to being 'one nation under God'. We pray clear guidance and a hedge of protection over Senator Thune, his office and his family as he increasingly seeks to serve You, his state and his country. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

Lord God, I pray that Your Word, spoken by Christian prayer warriors, into the life of John Thune has taken deep root. We pray he has is to see himself as You see him, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27) for Your plan and purpose (Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10) at this time in history. We pray that Senator Thune is convicted of John 3:16, that "...God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not parish but have everlasting life," and that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding," (Psalm 111:10). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24), and that he is convicted to seek Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he serves the people of South Dakota and the United States of America.
