Lord God, the intercessors of our nation raise the health, safety, and needs of this public servant before you in prayer. Grant unto him the wisdom as Soloman had in political and personal things. We pray that the eyes of his understanding be enlightened that he know the hope of your calling. May he be as the men of Issacar that had understanding of the times and knew what their nation ought to do. Give true insight into the future effects of each issue brought before him. Light his pathway with truth and provide him a just balance in all things represented to him. Guard and protect him, those he loves and those he serves. Amen and Amen.

Father, I ask Your blessing on Representative Green, and I ask that You would break his heart for what breaks Yours. Open his eyes to Your truth, Your ways, and give him a heart of compassion and love. Give him an understanding of Israel and how she longs for peace. Give him a desire to search out a matter, not accepting the opinion of another as fact. Give him a hunger for truth, even when it is unpopular. May he defend our Constitution and support the sanctity of human life. May he walk in integrity and justice. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

I pray that Al will experience a new American where no one is treated on the basis of their skin. May we all feel like brothers and sisters. I pray Al will be given wisdom to help make laws good for all of his constituents.

Father, I pray for Representative Al Green. Thank you for his service to you and to our country. May he seek you for wisdom. May he not serve for power or money, but in humility, because of a love for country, our freedoms and the Constitution. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and repentance for sin in his life. Draw him to you so he will seek life in Jesus's name.

Lead them to know You personally and intimately, to create just laws and abandon unjust ones; to make just rulings; to establish real enforcement that brings tangible change to mitigate social vices and bring wholeness; to create a fair and equitable society so we can live peaceful and quiet lives according to Your Word and promise.
