Jan Schakowsky (D)

Father, we lift up Jan to You, who is representing the 9th district in Illinois. You know each person that lives in that area and care deeply for them. We pray that she will accept wise counsel before she votes on important issues. Deliver her from opinions that are contrary to Your Word. Protect her from the influence of the evil one and draw her into a saving knowledge of Jesus, if she doesn't already know Him as Savior and Lord.

Heavenly Father, I concur and agree with these words and a previous prayer of Gary G, "I am deeply concerned about the direction that our beloved country is going", and I pray for your working in and around the lives of our Congresspersons and "leaders" of government. Father God, again this is a person I do not know how to pray for; I do not know this woman or her heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative Jan Schakowsky to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of her eternal soul and her life, that she might be redeemed and that she might make a positive impact on other lives she encounters . Lord, draw her unto yourself and Your purpose for her life. Open her heart and her mind to a real and true relationship with Jesus. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this woman that You would do a work in her life, in her heart that she might see Your Will and discern your direction for her life and her purpose and mission in Government . May she open her heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of false, harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences and falling into a lockstep mindset of power and control. Thank you O' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw it, but sweep the nation with Your Spirit for awakening and renewal. May Your Spirit do a work in our house of congress.

Father God, Almighty creative wonder of truth and light. I lift my prayer before you in the late night hours of darkness for this wonan who stands up to represent her people. Grant her the understanding of the men of Issachar, that had understanding of the times, and new what Israel ougth to do. I pray Pauls prayer for the Ephesians over her. Eph 1:18��The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of God's calling you into office. Protect, bless, and prosper this one who weathers the storms of politics to represent her people. Health, wellness, safety, and prosperity be unto her loved ones, her staff, and those fine people she represents. Amen and Amen.

Father, I bring Representative Schakowsky before Your throne of grace, and I ask Your blessings on her and her family. Continue to keep her safe and well. I pray that she would know You, Lord, and understand the great depth of Your love and mercy. She's been in service to our country for a considerable time, and she has great concerns for many things. Please give her Your wisdom and discernment so that she can make sound, moral decisions. May she come to realize that life begins at conception, and then, in turn, she will fight for the lives of our precious little ones who deserve to live. Thank You for her desire to protect women, ensure their safety, and for her care and support for our senior citizens. She has a sensitive heart towards immigrants also, and I pray that she will be able to work with other members of Congress to find a solution that works. She understands the need for national security, so please, Lord, give her discernment. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

First Lord I declare in Jesus name how sad it is that the Democratic party has become unrecognizable from its original functioning.. although it is true that political mindsets have moved back and forth ongoing for a long time..please instill in representarive schakowsky a conviction for you..we all have the longing ..filled in various ways..let that longing be filled in her..with you Lord..that her thinking would come from your leading Lord.Luke 11: 9-13. Please protect her family and guide her steps daily Proverbs3, 5& 8 5)..that she will Trust in the LORD with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding; 6in all her ways she will acknowledge Him, and He will make her paths straight. 7 she will be not wise in her own eyes; and fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 8This will bring healing to her body, and refreshment to her bones. Let her family be protected as well Lord and let her work office and home be guarded by your guardian angels

Father, I lift up Jan Schakowski. Thank you for her service to you and to our country. May she seek you for wisdom. May she desire a walk with you above all else. May your Holy Spirit lead her and give her courage to stand for you.
